Choosing A Spa Treatment
We want your La Bella Spa experience to be enjoyable and peaceful in every way. Our spa specialists will assist you in creating a personalized treatment that will serve as the starting point of your journey. Please feel free to ask any questions that may be of concern to you.

Making a Reservation
Simply call 505.899.5557 to make a reservation at any one of our three La Bella Spa and Salon locations (West Side, East Side or Hard Rock Hotel). A credit card is required at the time you book your treatments.

Health Considerations
Certain considerations regarding treatment need to be made for our guests who have high blood pressure, allergies, cardiac conditions, are pregnant or have any other physical ailments or disabilities. In such cases, please notify our Spa Coordinator when booking your treatment. If, at any time during your services, you experience discomfort, please alert your provider immediately.

Pregnancy
Many beneficial treatments can be enjoyed during pregnancy, and only a few services should be avoided. If you are pregnant, please notify our Spa Coordinator when booking your appointment so that they can offer guidance. It is strongly recommended that women in their first trimester not receive services, and that all pregnant women receive clearance from their physician prior to receiving a spa service.

Arrival Time
For enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 15-30 minutes prior to your first treatment. This will allow you time to change, shower, enjoy our steam & sauna room or simply relax in our quiet room prior to your service.

Late Arrival
Arriving late will limit the length of your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your enjoyment. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. Full value of your service will be applied.

Cancellation Policy
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us twenty four (24) hours in advance of your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties also require twenty-hour (24) hour notice.

Spa Service Payment
We accept cash and all major credit cards and traveler’s checks. To ensure that we do not delay you after your treatments, payment is accepted upon arrival.

Spa Wear
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, but please wear whatever is most comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being treated, and our highly-trained professionals are respectful of your privacy. Before treatment, robes and slippers are provided in the men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Spa Comfort
Your spa treatment is a time to relax and rejuvenate…a time to enjoy every moment to the fullest. For that reason, we ask that you mention any discomfort or preference to your therapist, whether room temperature, amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music. For the comfort of all our guests, we request that cell phones and pagers be turned off prior to entering the spa.

Shaving Prior To Treatment
Shaving is recommended but not a requirement for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, please be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Shaving is not recommended prior to any hair removal services. A minimum of 14 days of growth will ensure optimum results.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available from the spa. You may purchase Spa Gift Certificates for a specific dollar amount or for a particular service. The Spa Gift Certificates can be redeemed for services or purchases in our Spa Boutique.

Highlights & Color
Will coloring or highlighting damage my hair?
A: Coloring or highlighting your hair, when done properly by a professional, will not affect the health of your hair. Our professional stylists have a variety of techniques to promote and maintain healthy hair and produce amazing results.

How long will my color last?
Maximum results in color protection require a color care regimen, including the hair care products you use after coloring. Our shampoos are formulated to lock in and preserve your color while gently, yet effectively, cleansing and conditioning your hair. We cannot guarantee maximum results when using products other than those offered at La Bella.

Can you suggest a hair color that will go with my skin tone?
Yes, as professional stylists at La Bella we are trained to evaluate your eye color and skin tone. We can accentuate your best features while keeping in mind your time and lifestyle.

Waxing
There is a minimal amount of pain involved in the waxing procedure, but is normally quite tolerable. The longer the hair, the more thorough and more successful the result.

Tanning
You will want to arrive for your appointment with no lotions or oils on your skin. We do recommend exfoliation, such as our Bella Dolce Scrub, prior to tanning.

Cadiveu Smoothing System
Who is the best candidate for the Cadiveu Smoothing System?
It has been our experience that good candidates for the Cadiveu Smoothing System are anyone who has frizzy, damaged or processed hair.

What kind of look will I get from the Cadiveu Smoothing System?
Your hair will be left totally frizz-free, shiny, effortlessly manageable and with plenty of body and bounce. There will still be the option to wear hair curly/wavy (depending on the hair type) and the freedom to blow dry hair smooth and straight in a fraction of the time invested prior to receiving the treatment.

Can I still receive a Cadiveu Smoothing System if I have highlights and/or color?
Yes, the Cadiveu Smoothing System will actually improve the health of color-treated/highlighted hair by conditioning the hair while sealing the cuticle for enhanced color, reduced frizz and radiant shine.

Is the Cadiveu Smoothing System going to make my hair straight?
If your hair is wavy, the Cadiveu Smoothing System will make your hair appear naturally straight and healthy. If your hair is very curly, it will minimize frizz while enhancing the appearance of the natural wave/curl. If you have straight, frizzy hair, this treatment will eliminate frizz and promote radiant shine.

How long does the Cadiveu Smoothing System last?
The Cadiveu Smoothing System will last for 10-12 weeks if followed with proper maintenance. The Cadiveu Smoothing System is a cumulative treatment, in that the more you receive it, the healthier the hair will be and the longer the result will last.
