Uptown Facility. The class names and schedules are located below as well as

Class Descriptions
Accelerated Boxing:
It is energizing, powerful and motivating, while punching, kicking and
sparing with very experienced instructors. This class involves plyometrics,
strength, agility, and abdominals. You may even take classes from time to
time with the queen of boxing, Holly Homes.
Interval Power: Reach the peak of your cardio level while
working at your target heart rate level and your maximum heart rate level.
Using speedwork, agility and strength all in one workout.
Total Body Crunch: Get all you need over lunch with a total
body workout focusing on strength and corework. Have fun and relax over
lunch for a change.
Yoga I –II: This incorporates all levels of yoga practice
focusing on breathing and posture. Release stress and join us over lunch.
Restorative Yoga: Rejuvenate the body with breathing, poses
and postures that will release the stress acquired during the week. Focus on
relaxation, using your muscles, your mind and your whole body. Enjoy and
restore your energy and your focus.
Kripalu Yoga: Empower, befriend and listen to your body, discovering from your own direct experience what practices support your well-being and growth. Kripalu yoga awakens the life force that in yoga is called prana . This initiates a natural process of healing, growth and transformation, revealing the vitality, goodness and beauty that lie within each of us.
Experience delight and forgiveness as you observe and honor your body with non-judgment. In Kripalu Yoga find your oasis of stillness within and learn how this ancient practice brings peace and joy while building strength, flexibility and endurance.
Pilates Matwork I: Use the body’s inner core and focus on
muscle movement and strength while learning to move and breath.
Zen Stretch: A great way to relax and start the
weekend, using all the muscles in the body. Lengthen, breath and enjoy!!
Qigong I-II: The art of Qigong Healing, pronounced Chee-Gong, is an
aspect of traditional Chinese medicine involving the integration of
meditation, motion and breathing exercises to activate the flow of natural
energy in the body. Extra oxygen and energy in the body reduces inflammation
eliminating acidity from tissue and organs promoting weight loss, DNA repair
and plenty of beauty.
